Lean production starts with the environment and pays attention to the details. The working environment and layout of different areas in the workshop directly affect production efficiency, workflow, and product quality.

To further optimize the production process for carbon fiber bats, standardize workflow layout, and improve the working environment on the front line, A&E Machinery Industrial Co., Ltd. recently completed a comprehensive renovation and upgrade of the mezzanine area in Workshop 12. The project focused on upgrading the core functional areas of bat production, using a refreshed environment to boost production quality and efficiency, while continuing to advance the company's refined and standardized production management system.

The mezzanine area of Workshop 12 in A&E is the core pre-production area for the company's carbon fiber bats, handling multiple key processes before the bats are formed. It includes three main functional sections: the bat preforming area, the WSM bat preforming room, and the bat weaving area. The processes in each area are closely connected, making it a crucial workspace for ensuring the precision and quality of the finished bats. To meet the demands of large-scale production and address issues like aging facilities, poor lighting, and worn floors, the company has launched a comprehensive renovation project to systematically upgrade and optimize the mezzanine area.

This renovation sticks to the core principle of 'optimizing the environment and improving quality and efficiency' by giving the loft in Workshop 12 a thorough, detailed makeover. On the hardware side, the old floor in the workshop has been completely repaved to make it smooth, clean, wear-resistant, and slip-resistant, so it can handle high-frequency production tasks. At the same time, the wall decorations and lighting system have been fully upgraded—old lights were replaced, boosting overall brightness and evenness of the lighting, and wall flaws were repaired. The whole workshop now feels clean, bright, and open, creating a more comfortable, safe, and tidy working environment for front-line staff.

Refreshing the environment is just the surface; improving efficiency is what really matters. The complete renovation and upgrade of the loft area in workshop 12 not only beautified the workspace, but also enhanced the overall standardization and professionalism of the workshop, laying a solid foundation for future molding and testing processes, and further ensuring the stability of product quality.
